Woman Driving, Man Sleeping

Drama/Romance, Germany 2004

Anton (Karl Kranzkowski) and Sue (Hannelore Elsner) have come to terms with their marriage. Her daughter Sue Two (Kathleen Fiedler) describes the family as "exemplary happy". Sue tolerates the affairs of her attractive husband, a philosophy professor. Sue herself falls in love with another man. But then their 18-year-old son Thomas' (Markus Perschmann) health takes a turn. The sudden illness of their son changes Sue's view of family life: should she finally break up with Anton or dare to start over?
