At the foot of the Gamskogelwand: There, in the summer, the summer of the falcon, an exciting and dangerous adventure awaits Marie, a girl who lives in the mountains and has a falcon for a friend, and Rick, a young punk from Berlin, who spends the vacations here with his father to learn hang gliding. Herbert Sasse, an oddball pigeon breeder from Bottrop, who is after his prize-winning breeding pigeon with his radio direction finder, which has disappeared in this lonely part of the Alps, appears as a comic figure in the idyllic village. The story really gets going when Marek Czerny, an obscure figure, shows up in the dreamy village and sets his sights straight on the falcon's nest. He is after the clutch of eggs - each egg is supposed to fetch him 10,000 dollars, a bombshell deal! And so Rick from Berlin, Marie from the mountains, pigeon breeder Sasse from Bottrop and Czerny get into a turbulent, exciting and not entirely dangerous adventure out of pure greed for money.
