Im Garten

On Alter Tornow, a peninsula on Lake Templin opposite the city of Potsdam, there has been an allotment garden settlement since the 1920s. A world of its own. You only hear about the other world here from the radio. There is coffee, financial crises and problems with the neighbor, there are lots of right angles in the green - and lots of wild growth. The garden train rushes along the privet hedge and through the rose bed, and on the construction site the wrong people are always checked. There's work or no work, parties behind hedges and singing, and there's unpredictable weather and greedy slugs. The allotment garden settlement differs from the world by a chairman, the world does not have one. And, an allotment garden is still much nicer to those who work in it. This is due to its manageability, flowers and lettuce. A short visit.
