Everything is actually going well for Clara at school. She has a girl clique and her best friend Oskar is in a good mood. The only thing that worries Clara is the nightmare: "You are the chosen one," a mysterious voice calls out. Clara just wants to be like everyone else and not stand out - that's not unusual for a twelve-year-old, but life has other plans for her. For after the mysterious figure addresses Clara in the mist, she is attacked by a cat and her classmate's chinchilla dog very clearly asks her to free him from captivity - that's when her mother has to confess to her that Clara comes from a family of wild witches. Wild witches can talk to animals and have the task of preserving the Wild World - and this is especially true for Clara!
