Wild Chicks in Love

Family/Book adaptation, Germany 2007

When they were children, the girls of the “Wild Chicks” used to fight with the boys of the “Pygmäen”. But now, in puberty, everything is different. Here and there, the first friendships and flirtations begin to emerge. Chief hen Sprat is more or less happy with her boyfriend Fred, if it weren't for Sprat's eternal jealousy. Frieda is with Maik, but only at weekends, and Melanie has already had her first break-up. Only Trude and Wilma are initially friendless. But not only the little girls are in love, so is Sprat's mother. The single mother wants to marry her boyfriend - Sprat cynically calls him the “smartass”.
