He looks like a small bear, he has powerful jaws like a hyena, and the Finns call him "rock cat". There are many myths about the wolverine, the largest marten in the world. It lives hidden in Finland's forests, snatches elk and reindeer calves, and is even said to be a match for adult brown bears and moose. Hardly anyone gets to see him. But nature photographer Antti Leinonen has succeeded in winning the trust of the bear-biting giant marten.
