Kurt Tetzlaff's film "In Transit" shows Alexander, a high school graduate from Potsdam who was already part of the alternative scene in spring 1989. Alexander (19), son of a pastor and an alert citizen, is in "Transit". Five months from the life of a young person in this country. Hopeful, active and discussing, you can see him in autumn '89 trying to shape the new. In the spring of '90, after the elections in March, his hopes turned into resignation.
