Dammentour

Drama, Luxembourg 1992

Romain Welter and his wife Françoise live in a house that provides Romain with the ideal setting to celebrate the upper middle-class lifestyle he loves. The villa, however, belongs to his wife. Françoise, who has made a name for herself as a sculptor, is bored with her husband. But just as she wants to ask for a divorce, she has an accident that leaves her paralyzed. This accident allows Romain to play the ideal husband to his wife, now at his mercy, while continuing to live as before. The situation suffocates Françoise more and more and she plans a diabolical revenge. Film from the CNA archive.
