For his new film, director Georg and his crew set up camp in Gdansk, Poland, in the middle of the European Football Cup, to film the first “comedy d'auteur grand public”. But the project threatened to fall apart at any moment, between last-minute script changes, cast defections and the outright withdrawal of the producers, who refused to finance a project that was more than a little shaky. The only thing missing was a personal cataclysm, which didn't fail to happen when Georg's ex-girlfriend Olga, who was also the costume designer on the shoot, told him she was pregnant. While the unlucky director clings to his artistic project, which he adapts as best he can in the face of setbacks, Olga consoles herself for her indifference in the arms of the Polish stage manager. But after all, on screen as in life, a disaster scenario is better than no scenario at all...
