The democratic revolutionary handbook

The revolutions in Georgia, Ukraine and Serbia were remarkably similar. How were these “coloured revolutions” made, that caused dictators from the ex-Soviet block to tumble one after the other? With the "makers" of these revolutions, their advisers and sponsors, the film explains in detail how these revolutions were organised. By focusing on the similarities between the various countries, the film neglects the distinct histories of these countries and their quest for freedom and democracy. It should not be forgotten that without exasperation against authoritarian and corrupt regimes and a genuine desire for independence on the part of the people, external financial flows would not have been enough to bring about these revolutions.
