Twenty years ago, they would never have thought that they would one day make their money from jam: Angela Siebert, chair of the LPG cooperative, and Gudrun Fiodorra, head of Konsum, lost their jobs after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Like many women in the east, they were no longer needed. Angela and Gudrun took the plunge into self-employment and founded a company. They gather wild berries and fruits, harvest garden fruits and process them into jam in their small factory. We accompany them in their daily lives and learn how they assert themselves as entrepreneurs: two down-to-earth women with humor, who live in the here and now and are satisfied with what they have achieved together. Jana Kalms tells their story.
