Jaffa - a city between religions and cultures. For the first time since his childhood, internationally renowned dance star Pierre Dulaine returns here to fulfil a long-held dream: He initiates a school project in which Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Jewish children, who have lived in the same city for decades but not with each other, learn to dance together: and, there is no mistaking it for Pierre, ballroom dance. Its basis is the fundamental idea of bringing two people together who move as one. In this way, Pierre wants to teach the children life skills: Confidence, self-esteem, discipline, respect and manners. But even the necessary touching of hands poses a problem. And it should not remain the only one ... DANCING IN JAFFA is also the story of the children who take part in the project, their view of a life marked by mistrust and prejudice from an early age, and of the difficulties of developing an independent view of life. In this way, the film provides a fresh look at the Middle East. So you root for the children and keep your fingers crossed for Pierre to succeed in his project.
