The rather shy Ville lives a quiet life in a small Finnish village. But then someone appears who has always been able to turn everything upside down in no time at all: his father, a well-known former rock star and bon vivant. And worst of all, he moves in with Ville! As if the situation wasn't complicated enough, one night his father brings home a girl who is Ville's age and, above all, enchanting. Sara is a lively, cheeky student from America and the village's new line dance teacher. Ville and Sara gradually become friends. In Ville's eyes, his father is an absolute burden and an even worse, annoying rival. The chatter about rock'n'roll and freedom, the parties and binge-drinking hangovers drive Ville mad. Speaking of madness: Why is the voice of Ronald Reagan still adding its two cents to Ville's thoughts?! Ville urgently needs to change something... A few line dance performances, rides, exchanges, drinks and wrestling matches later, Ville finally realises that there is as much impulsiveness in him as in his father. If anger can turn into love, then a hated loved one must have been involved!
