Roberto runs a hardware store in Buenos Aires and is as stubborn as the screws he sells. A notorious loner, he lets nothing and especially no one get too close to him. He collects curious stories that he cuts out of newspapers. One day, without realizing it, he becomes part of such a story himself, when suddenly the young Chinese Jun bursts into his boring life and completely turns it upside down. Jun doesn't speak a word of Spanish, has been robbed immediately after his arrival in Argentina and is therefore absolutely dependent on the help of others. Reluctantly, Roberto takes the Chinese man under his wing to look for his uncle. And in the process finds a way out of his own dreary existence.
