The end of a busy week. It's Friday evening, but a woman (Christine Schorn) in her mid-30s doesn't want to go home yet. While patients, doctors and students go home at the university, she stays behind. She waits until she is almost alone and suddenly has an intense desire to break the normal daily routine, not to hurry home to open the door for others, but to be received. So she takes her time, choosing detours on this evening. Instead of going home, she wanders through Berlin and experiences everyday life differently than usual, is touched and affected by what she discovers in the lives of others. Strengthened in her need for warmth and security, she finally enjoys the happiness of having someone waiting for her at home. This creates yet another non-ordinary morning, a recurring exception: Saturday morning. The most beautiful thing about it: as a married couple, you can take time for each other. We experience the strength of this woman to be there for others in a fun and natural way and get to know her in her dealings with her husband (Rolf Hoppe).
