Hockey Night

"Hockey Night" is a 1984 Canadian television film about prejudice against young women in hockey. Cathy's (Megan Follows) biggest dream is to become a hockey player. But when she moves to Parry Sound, Ontario with her mother, she can't find a club that will take her on. Cathy doesn't give up and qualifies for a local boys' team. But no matter how well she plays, there is always resistance. A major sponsor doesn't want her on the team. She also needs the support of her team to achieve her goal of becoming goalkeeper for the local team....
