Bob Morane receives mail from the small town of Nowhere. The card is postmarked in 1876. When he and Bill take a closer look at the letter, Sophia suddenly appears and attacks them. It turns out that it is not her friend, but a hologram of her. Dr. Xhatan has kidnapped the real Sophia and is holding her captive in the small western town of Nowhere - in the previous century.
