Season 2 | Episode 23: tHE tWO ROBBERS

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, Italy 2007

It is a lovely spring morning and Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary decide to have breakfast on a pretty lawn but, as they are laying the table, they realize that all the food that they had gathered has disappeared. Looking around to see who could be the thief, they see some smoke rise up from behind some bushes and, moving closer, they discover all their food in front of two raccoons, who are devouring it. Our three friends, much annoyed, step forward and demand an explanation from the two wrongdoers who, quite candidly, explain that it is their nature, as raccoons, to steal food. Immediately afterwards, the two louts approach Pipì and, after studying him closely, tell him they are his Mapà. And so Pipì, happy as a lark, follows them, leaving behind Pupù and Rosmary who are happy for him but also very sad to see their friend go. Very soon, however, the two raccoons reveal their real nature which is, obviously, clearly, that they are two rascals who want to use Pipì as a petty thief and then sell them to their cousin in Montreal. But the Narrator warns Rosmary and Pupù of the danger their little friend is in and they succeed, during a momentary distraction of the raccoons, to free Pipì and run away, far far away from the two criminals.
