Janoschs Traumstunde

Book adaptation/Family, Germany 1986

Antek Pistole was a broom maker. Soon everyone in the village had a broom from him, no one needed a new one. That's when Antek decided to become a robber. But Antek does not know the world well: first he is robbed. Then he gets into the hands of two scoundrels who make him out to be a robber and take money for it. During a riot, Antek manages to escape and, by chance, gets hold of an organ grinder, with which he henceforth visits the local fairs, where he tells the story of the famous robber in the forest.
