Season 2 | Episode 10: tHE SONG OF tHE SiREN

Pipì, Pupù & Rosemary

Nature/Animation, Italy 2007

Pipì, Pupù and Rosmary are looking for traces of Mapà on the sea shore, where they meet a little wild boar with a strange habit: it walks around with corks in its ears. When our trio ask him why, the little wild boar tells them he plugs up his ears in order not to hear the sirens’ song, which they use to attract their prey. The three little friends shrug it off but when they hear the siren song, coming from a rock just off the beach, they throw themselves into the water, totally bewitched. Just as they are about to be captured and eaten by the sirens, the little wild boar saves them by luring them back onto the beach with one of his irresistible ‘rock’ songs.
